M&CC introduces neo clr computer solution cabinetry
M&CC Modular and Custom Cabinets, The Cabinet Specialists, has introduced the newest member of the NEO Series Computer Solution Cabinetry, the NEO CLR. These innovative cabinets are the answer to the dual challenge of incorporating computerization and accommodating left- and right-handed dentistry. NEO CLR cabinets have a rear serve shelf with computer station and also feature Corian® solid surface countertops, which help minimize cross contamination in the operatory.
Standard features on the NEO CLR cabinets include many elements that address the day-to-day issues of running a successful dental practice. These include M&CC’s 4-port retraction system, which keeps tubing off the floor, dual-assistant work surfaces and instrumentation, 3-handpiece auto control/syringe, and a medical-grade flush-mounted monitor. A utility wall with 8” chase, which will accommodate a variety of N2O systems, communication devices, clocks, and much more, is also standard. There is ample standard upper storage for tub and trays, a lower CPU storage, and many configurations of drawer modules to face either the operatory or the end of the cabinet. The cabinets are designed to accommodate left- and right-handed dentistry. In addition, standard essentials include a rear business computer work station and a rear serve shelf. NEO CLR series cabinets are available in 25” or 18” depth models to fit any size room. The 18” models also accommodate the CPU storage by moving it to the top of the cabinet and anchoring it to the ceiling bracing or bulkhead of the office.
M&CC Modular and Custom Cabinets manufactures a wide range of high-quality, value-priced dental cabinetry. The company has provided solid construction, modular design, and individualized attention to meet the needs of the modern dental operatory for more than 30 years. New Orthodontic Appliance Straightens Teeth Without Braces, Announces VECTOR III(R) ORTHODONTICS
VECTOR III(R) ORTHODONTICS announces its revolutionary new orthodontic appliance that straightens teeth without braces. The "DUO-TEE SPRINGS(TM) RETAINER" is the newest way to straighten crooked teeth without orthodontic brackets or wires. The retainer is removable, made of light-weight plastic and uses small, metal mini-springs made of a revolutionary metal named Vectorloy(TM) (U.S. Patent #6604943), which the company has invented and patented especially for orthodontics. These extremely flexible, mini-springs are hidden under the acrylic surface away from the tongue, lips and cheeks, and are precisely positioned behind each crooked tooth so that these mini-shock-absorbers can gently, yet quickly straighten these crooked teeth (Method Patent #2003-0198915-A1).
This is safer, faster, easier and better than any other removable orthodontic appliance available today. And after the active treatment phase is completed, the same appliance can be used as the final retainer. The Vector III(R) treatment works best for those patients with crowding of the anterior teeth. This retainer has proven to be very cost- and time-effective with a very high satisfaction rating given by both the patients and the dentists.
The company will present their newest appliances (both removable and fixed) and their newest treatment techniques at the California Dental Association Spring Scientific Sessions (#2237, Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 18, 2004).
Further information about these new and revolutionary orthodontic techniques are available either at the company's website at www.vector3ortho.com or at one of their seminars given at the Eldorado Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada, near the corporate headquarters of Vector3Orthodontics, LLC, a division of VECTOR III(R) ORTHODONTICS.

Sybron Dental Specialties, Inc. Enters Nanocomposite Market With Introduction of Premise(TM)
Sybron Dental Specialties, Inc. (NYSE:SYD) announced today that its Kerr Corporation subsidiary has entered the fast growing market for nanocomposite restoratives with the introduction of Premise(TM), a dental composite restorative having significant technological advancements over competing products. Developed with nano technology that results in easier, higher quality aesthetic restorations, Premise is a tooth-colored restorative material that replicates the natural form and function of a tooth.
Premise offers dentists four key advantages:
* Up to 45% less shrinkage than other brands
* Easy, sustained polish that provides superior luster retention over
time
* Excellent handling that allows for easier placement and contouring
* Universal applicability for both posterior and anterior teeth
"We believe Premise will become one of our best selling individual products as it gains traction in the marketplace," said Steven Semmelmayer, President of Kerr Corporation. "Premise sets a new industry standard for combining aesthetics, ease of placement, durability, and long-term polish in one restorative material. Furthermore, our market research indicates that dentists place a premium on a composite's ability to shrink less during curing. Premise offers the lowest shrinkage of any universal composite on the market today. The initial response from influential clinicians that have tested Premise has been very positive, and we believe their endorsement will be valuable in attracting dentists to this new product. We have historically maintained a top 3 market position in the dental composite category, and with our entry into the fastest growing segment of the composite market, we believe we are well positioned to increase our market share in the years ahead."
Premise is being shipped to Kerr's distribution partners during March and will be available to dentists by the end of the month. Sybron expects the initial sales of Premise will contribute approximately $1 million in revenue to the Company's second quarter of fiscal 2004.
The introduction of Premise will also be leveraged to create exposure for the Company's new KerrHawe polishing kit, which is used for finishing and polishing composite restorations. A free sample of the new KerrHawe polishing kit will be included with each Premise purchase for a limited time.
Kerr has also established a new website, KerrPremise.com, where users will soon be able to view dental cases using Premise, learn more about the product and complementary offerings from Kerr, and participate in promotional offers. This website will be live on April 1, 2004.
