The Odyssey ™features precise power output for accurate application and consistent wavelength output for smooth, precise, clean tissue modification. The simplified control panel with two output modes (continuous wave and pulsed), and two power selector buttons will greatly reduce the learning curve. Therefore, there is no longer a need for clinicians to fret over the pulses per second or the pulse duration. Now, all that is required is setting the power level, choosing pulsed mode or continuous wave, hitting the “Ready” button, and getting to work.
The small footprint and weight (approximately 5.5 pounds) help to conserve valuable counter space and facilitate portability. Specifically, the design and technology used in the Odyssey ™Diode Laser allows easy transportion between different operatories.
